Taqwa Institute is a registered charity and grassroots centre in Oldham, dedicated to advancing education, scholarship, and the development of principled young leaders. With over 20 years of service, the Institute has established a strong presence across the borough, with more than 200 families accessing its programmes and services on a weekly basis.

What We Do
Alongside its faith based educational provision the Institute is committed to nurturing confident and responsible youth through leadership pathways that emphasise service, discipline, and purpose. This is delivered through a wide range of initiatives including sports, scouting, enterprise, mentorship, and personal development programmes, equipping young people with the skills and mindset to positively contribute to British society.

How We Do It
As a community hub, Taqwa Institute plays an active role in addressing local needs through education, outreach and social action. Its work includes early years nursery, faith-based supplementary school, tuition centre, community cafe, wellbeing and mentoring support, and collaborative partnerships that strengthen community cohesion and inclusion across diverse communities.
